News, Recognition

20 October 2026

ARIO partners Anna Sydorovych and Zoryana Skaletska, together with Counsel Olha Koval, have been recognised in this year’s Ukrainian Women in Law study by Yurydychna Gazeta. The three received recognition in separate categories.

Anna Sydorovych has been named among the women leading Ukraine’s legal market. Anna heads ARIO’s Western Ukraine office and specialises in dispute resolution, corporate, commercial and tax law. She also teaches law at the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE).

Zoryana Skaletska has been recognised in the “Women Leaders: Impact on Practice” category for healthcare law. A member of Kyiv City Council, she served as Ukraine’s Minister of Health from 2019 to 2020. She combines legal practice with teaching at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and contributing to healthcare legislation.

Olha Koval has been recognised in the “Rising Stars: The Next Generation of Legal Leaders” category. A counsel in ARIO’s Criminal Law and White Collar Crime practice, Olha handles high-profile matters for public officials, politicians, entrepreneurs, companies and financial institutions.

Ukrainian Women in Law marks its tenth anniversary in 2026. The project highlights the professional achievements of women lawyers and their contribution to the development of the law and the legal services sector. It also examines women’s career opportunities, progression to partnership and involvement in firm management.

This year, the editorial team reviewed the work of 125 Ukrainian law firms. Selection criteria included professional achievements, international recognition, leadership and management experience, as well as contributions to education, legislative drafting and human rights advocacy. The study also draws on expert assessments from representatives of law firms, the Bar and the corporate sector, alongside peer recommendations.

We are proud of our colleagues and congratulate them on this recognition. Thank you to our clients for their trust and to the legal community for their recommendations.
